Yes! We've finally started offering Macbook Air repair via mailing it from charlotte, North Carolina, but if you live in NYC Manhattan (Financial District) it's easier to just stop by our office to get your Macbook Air fixed. But if you must send your device in please keep reading:

We understand that mailing in your Macbook Air repair can be a hassle. So, we came up with the simplest method of getting your device to us for repair: (it's literally 2 steps!) We ask you to skip the checkout process and ignore the order form. Just send your device to us and pay later. It can't get simpler than that!

(Step 1) Package device with our address on it. (Don't include wires/games!)
(Step 2) Bring package to the Post Office and pay for shipping.
(Step 3) We receive the package and we'll email you an invoice for the repair.

If you feel like processing the order and paying first, you can do that too. Just choose your Macbook Air issue and add it to the cart.

Be sure to email us your tracking number so we know when to expect your package! We will diagnose the issue and contact you to let you know the cost of the repair before doing any work.

Important: Include your name + phone number + email written on a piece of paper and include it in your package. Also, state the issue you're having with your Macbook Air. No need to print anything out. We're trying to keep this as simple as possible!

I had a broken XBOX and everywhere wanted weeks to repair it, required me to mail it, and cost anywhere from $60-$175. It made me think I had to just buy a new console... but I searched a ilttle more... and found xCubicle right in Manhattan! xCubicle diagnosed the problem right on the spot and took the unit.... they did the repair for $65 and called me when it was complete three days later as originally stated. They even gave me a bag to carry it back as I had walked there to pick it up and didn't think to bring a bag. Excellent (and friendly) customer service, fair price, quick turnaround and high quailty work.

After updating my rating to 3 stars, I was told I could get my fan replaced, but the risk is that the system will overheat again at some point. My system is pretty old, so I'm wondering if I should pre-emptively buy a new one instead of messing with this one any more (could probably sell it). I'd lose the backward compatibility, but I really don't play the old games anymore. Anyway, my point is, this place is great. I'll keep it at 4 stars because it wasn't clear to me just how loud the fan would be, but they are well priced, quick, and very accomodating.

I think most of these positive reviews here are a bit exaggerated or fluffed up. My experience with xcubicle was not good at all. When i took my playstation 3 for the yellow light repair xcubicle charged me $20.00 up front for their so called diagnostic. On top of that, I had to wait a few days, they then called stating that they could not fix my ps3 and had the option of buying one from them. I was told that If I bought one from them, I could not have my old one back but xcubicle still wanted to charge me full price on the one they wanted to sell to me. I found that a bit shady. My advice, stay away.
