Yes! We've finally started offering New 3DS XL repair via mailing it from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but if you live in NYC Manhattan (Financial District) it's easier to just stop by our office to get your New 3DS XL fixed. But if you must send your device in please keep reading:

We understand that mailing in your New 3DS XL repair can be a hassle. So, we came up with the simplest method of getting your device to us for repair: (it's literally 2 steps!) We ask you to skip the checkout process and ignore the order form. Just send your device to us and pay later. It can't get simpler than that!

(Step 1) Package device with our address on it. (Don't include wires/games!)
(Step 2) Bring package to the Post Office and pay for shipping.
(Step 3) We receive the package and we'll email you an invoice for the repair.

If you feel like processing the order and paying first, you can do that too. Just choose your New 3DS XL issue and add it to the cart.

Be sure to email us your tracking number so we know when to expect your package! We will diagnose the issue and contact you to let you know the cost of the repair before doing any work.

Important: Include your name + phone number + email written on a piece of paper and include it in your package. Also, state the issue you're having with your New 3DS XL. No need to print anything out. We're trying to keep this as simple as possible!

I brought my XBox 360 into XCubicle in December because my disk drive stopped opening. They charged me $80 for the repair, citing that I needed a new belt. After picking it up, it worked fine -- for a month. It started acting up again and finally stopped opening again altogether just last week. My girlfriend decided to see if she could repair it by watching a video on YouTube. She took the device apart and discovered that my "new belt" that cost $80 was really just a throw-away rubber band. XBoxes get hot. There is a reason you shouldn't use a rubber band. Dry rot. While she had the XBox open, she discovered that another part (a shield) had been replaced for some reason and that repair was shoddy as well. They replaced it with an incorrect part and masking taped it together. They even lost two screws that hold the case together from the inside. It's amazing that it ever worked at all. This was the only repair that I've ever had done on the Xbox, and I've had it since it was brand new. Do not take your equipment to these people. Watch a video or email me and my girlfriend will happily do it for half price. Not Kidding.

Thank you for taking the time out to review our business and we're sorry that you've had an unpleasant experience with us. If your Xbox 360 drive started to act up after a month, you were well under our 90 day warranty and you could have brought it in and we would've repaired it for free. Please understand this is the reason why repair shops provide a warranty system as every repair isn't going to be 100% perfect, there will always be a small percentage of repairs that might end up coming back and thats just the nature of things. Its the same if you were to buy 100 apples, you are going to get some bad ones and we have factored this into our business model by providing a worry free warranty. We price all xbox drive repairs at $80 regardless of what issue it is. It's just a flat pricing we use to cover any problems with the dive. Some people have broken timing belts, issues reading games, broken drive spindles, corrupt drive boards and the list goes on. We can't possibly list every problem and price it to each broken item. This is why we do a flat $80 pricing for any drive related repair and we cover it fully during the warranty period. If you brought your system in and we replaced your timing belt and then a month later the drive stops reading games, we will repair that for free as its still considered a drive repair. As for the method of repair, you may see it as a rubber band, but in technical terms its called a timing belt and it is in every type of CD/DVD drive in existence. Its the same stance of saying a car has rubber bands to move it's motors and a mechanic used a rubber band to fix a car. Not all timing belts are made equal and on rare occasions they do fail and in your case it did. I'm sorry you were not satisfied with the repair, but it would have been great if you gave us a call in the first place. Yes I agree that anyone can fix their own device by watching a youtube video, but not everyone does which is why we are providing this service. I hope our response sheds some positive light on this review.

Look, I am a techie kind of a guy, so when something breaks I will try and fix it myself, and if I can't I'll take it to the Mfg. My PSP 1000 was broken, I read all I could online and felt like I had a good idea what was wrong, but I could not be sure. I brought the PSP to XCubicle and they had an idea for a quick fix, but it didn't work out, the MB had to be replaced (Which BTW was what I was figuring anyway) They took care of it and I had it back the next day, fully functional (My PSP had been broken for nearly a year) The price was reasonable and by that I mean less then half of what a new device would cost. But you cannot buy a new PSP 1000 anymore can you. They do all sorts of work there including fixing RROD and burnt out Blue Ray Lasers, they are super nice and friendly. I am sure I will be sending devices to them again in the future, and that anyone I know with bad hardware is going to be getting an earful from me about why they should go to XCubicle.

Michael - It is an Nintendo 3DS. My son accidently pulled some kind of silver casing out of the outlet (on the back of the 3DS) where the battery charger plugs in. The system will not charge anymore. I would appreciate any help you can offer and a cost of repair.
Marian - Hi, I have my Wii not reading games anymore. I purchased it in Nov 2010 at BestBuy and don't have extended warranty. I moved to Europe and my Wii worked fine only for one year. Currenty, I'm in NYC only for limited time (till May 25) and brought my broken Wii that I can find some place where it can be fixed. Could you, please, let me know whether you would help me out? May I bring my Wii to your place on Sun May 20 at noon? At BestBuy they told me they won't have a look as I don't have extended warranty and said I should contant some Nintendo store. Jack - NEW 3DS XL My new 3ds xl is stuck on standby mode, and i've been trying to troubleshoot it for several days after I updated it. When I turn on the new 3ds xl, only the blue light power indicator comes on. Not even the back lights of the screens come on. I've deduced that it needs a motherboard replacement to fix the issue. My primary question though is ... what firmware does a new replacement motherboard come with??? it seems new 3ds xls have been coming with firmwares as early as 8.1-9.0. I'm need to know this before i even consider sending this in for repair.
