playstation-ps3-repair-nyc (Walk In) + New Mexico Santa Fe (Mail In Available)
Yes! We've finally started offering PS3 repair via mailing it from Santa Fe, New Mexico, but if you live in NYC Manhattan (Financial District) it's easier to just stop by our office to get your PS3 fixed. But if you must send your device in please keep reading:
We understand that mailing in your PS3 repair can be a hassle. So, we came up with the simplest method of getting your device to us for repair: (it's literally 2 steps!) We ask you to skip the checkout process and ignore the order form. Just send your device to us and pay later. It can't get simpler than that!
(Step 1) Package device with our address on it. (Don't include wires/games!)
(Step 2) Bring package to the Post Office and pay for shipping.
(Step 3) We receive the package and we'll email you an invoice for the repair.
If you feel like processing the order and paying first, you can do that too. Just choose your PS3 issue and add it to the cart.
Be sure to email us your tracking number so we know when to expect your package! We will diagnose the issue and contact you to let you know the cost of the repair before doing any work.
Important: Include your name + phone number + email written on a piece of paper and include it in your package. Also, state the issue you're having with your PS3. No need to print anything out. We're trying to keep this as simple as possible!
Ummmm so I had them repair my PS3 for the YLOD. At first everything seemed great, the only problem is that when they repaired my ps3, they turned on the fan setting all the way to the maximum level. It literally sounds like a hair dryer in your room. So if it repaired, why do you need the fan to be on the highest level. It's because it is not really repaired in my opinion. After a week of having it on high, i decided to take it back and have them change the fan back to the original settings. They warned me that it may go back to YLOD. I said screw that. If my ps3 can work for 8 years on normal fan settings, then it should be fine. Behold, after 2 weeks, my ps3 reverted back to YLOD. I looked under the hood and noticed that I had missing screws and looked like they changed some of my parts out. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!! DON"T USE, waste of money, just buy a new ps3 by that point. Waste of $125.
"AMAZING. Stumbled on this place through google cause my Playstation 80 GB (backwards compatible) would not even turn on anymore after i tried to reflow and reapply the thermal paste a third time myself. I brought it here and they charged me a $30 diagnostic fee and $70 more if they fixed the problem.
Sure enough, in one day, they had my PS3 bumping and alive once again. They showed me on a monitor that it turned on and even put a game in to verify that it was reading discs. The lady associate i dealt with was very professional and courteous. It's cash only but definitely well worth it! I now know where to go for my system needs. Highly highly recommended. Love you guys and gals!
PS - love the little figures and art in the window. Keep up the excellent work!"
These guys are awesome! Had the YLOD (red blinking light) on my PS3. So stuck between the decision of buying a new console, or sending it in for repairs with Sony I stumbled across xCubicle, and with all the good reviews I decided to give them a try. I brought my PS3 down to them on a Monday afternoon, put down a $20 diagnostic fee (which goes toward your total cost), and by Wednesday had a working console back in my possession. The grand total was $125 (including the aforementioned $20). Totally worth the money for a repair that only took TWO DAYS! Highly recommended!
